Sunday-School

Sunday school is where children begin to develop their understanding and love of Jesus Christ. At Steele Creek Presbyterian Church we believe that children are gifts from God that need to be nurtured spiritually.

Our children and youth Sunday school meet every Sunday year round from 9:30 to 10:15 AM. Classes are lead by dedicated members of the congregation.

Elementary Sunday School Classes

Children come to know the love of God through Jesus by making Sunday school a place they want to be. Children Sunday School Classes are taught with the Live B.I.G. (Belief in God), a DVD-based Sunday school resource designed to excite and enrich your children’s spiritual lives by bringing their everyday real world experience into Sunday school.

Classes are separated into three age groups: 3rd – 5th Grade, Kindergarten – 2nd Grade, and Preschool (ages 2 – 4). Classes meet upstairs in the education building.

Youth Sunday School Classes

The Youth begin their lessons with contemporary worship, including music and prayer, in a casual atmosphere. Faith in Motion offers relevant and timely Bible answers to the tough real-life problems today’s teens face. A few samples of Faith in Motion lesson topics include:

  • Pop Culture
  • Friends & Family
  • Saying No
  • Making an Impact
  • Sports
  • 7 Deadly Sins
  • School
  • Pressure
  • Decision Making

Classes are separated into High School Class (Grades 9 – 12) and Middle School Class (Grades 6 – 8). Both classes meet upstairs in the education building.
